Clarins Everlasting+ Compact Foundation

I think by now you all know how much I love Clarins foundations, so needless to say that I was very curious to try their new Everlasting + Compact Foundation! Formulated with organic quinoa extract and bamboo powder, this long-wearing powder foundation is said to provide a flawless complexion and 15 hours of shine-free skin.

103 Ivory
105 Nude
107 Beige
108 Sand
109 Wheat
110 Honey
112 Amber
114 Cappucino
116.5 Coffee

I have the two lightest shades :

103 Ivory is similar to NW10 and has peachy pink undertones.
105 Nude is similar to NC15 and has yellow undertones. It's slightly darker than 103 Ivory and the undertones are warmer.

I love how this powder looks on my skin, it has a beautiful satin finish and it doesn't look powdery or cakey!

It removes unwanted shine and my pores are instantly minimized, the powder isn't visible on the skin.

Unfortunately the Everlasting+ Compact Foundation is supposed to mattify the skin for up to 15 hours, but my face was already shiny after only 2 hours. My skin is very oily though, so I'm not really surprised.

Despite that, the foundation lasted pretty well. It didn't separate and the coverage was still great after more than 8 hours.

The formula is sheer but buildable to a medium coverage.

It comes with a double-sided sponge for buildable coverage as well ; use the beige side for sheer coverage, or the white side for more coverage.

I wish that it mattified my skin during 15 hours (a girl can dream!), but it's a beautiful powder foundation nonetheless!

I like to use it like a regular pressed powder as well, in combination with a light-medium coverage foundation. It adds a bit of coverage without looking cakey!
