Out of the 12 shades, 7 of them have a matte finish. While some of the other colors are metallic or shimmery, none of them contain chunky glitters. There's some great transition shades in this palette as well, Sauced and Low Blow are my favorites!
Every single color is highly pigmented and the formula is top notch ; the eyeshadows are super smooth and blend beautifully!
One thing is missing though, a light metallic gold or champagne!
The color Ounce is beautiful but too subtle to highlight the inner corners of my eyes (especially with those metallic coppers) and the other shimmery eyeshadows are too dark.
I'm glad that the shade Ashes is in this palette, it allows me to add depth to any eye look without adding another layer of copper-red-orange. I like warm shades but I think another reddish brown would have been overkill.
By the way, Ember is by far my favorite shade! It's gorgeous all over the lid with Sauced in the crease. I wish I could buy this one separately!
The Naked Heat palette is sizzling hot and the formula is perfection!
I gotta say though, this is a very warm-toned eyeshadow palette. If you aren't a die-hard fan of warm colors, you may not like this one.
Ounce is a ivory with a pearly finish.
Chaser is a light peachy beige with a matte finish.
Sauced is a light peachy brown with a matte finish.
Low Blow is a warm brown with a matte finish.
Lumbre is a golden peachy pink with a shimmery finish.
He Devil is a burnt red with a matte finish.
Dirty Talk is a coppery burnt red with a metallic finish.
Scorched is a deep coppery rose with a metallic finish.
Cayenne is a reddish brown with a matte finish.
En Fuego is a burgundy with a matte finish.
Ashes is a deep plum brown with a matte finish.
Ember is a deep copper bronze with a shimmery finish.
In addition to the Naked Heat eyeshadow palette, this collection contains 3 limited-edition Vice Lipsticks (Fuel, Heat and Scorched) and two 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils (Alkaline and Torch).
The Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette retails for $66 CAD for 15.6g (12 x 1.3g) and is available at Sephora.
