The color payoff is just perfect for a brow pencil, it doesn't draw harsh lines but it's still pigmented enough to show up on the skin.
Same with the formula, which isn't too creamy or greasy. It's not too dry and doesn't tug on the skin too much either.
I can't figure out the difference between a regular brow pencil and this one, the asymmetric lead is a great idea in theory... but when I use it, I don't see any difference!
If I want a brow pencil that can draw precise and thin lines, I much prefer Make Up For Ever's Pro Sculpting Brow Pens.
Overall, the product itself is great and I think the color selection is interesting, but it's not the best product for my thin and sparse brows. In fact, it's been a while since I used a brow pencil. I always go back to a brow pomade, which allows me to draw hair-like strokes with a brush. I can't achieve that look with a pencil.
But I realize that my situation is different than most, so it might be great for those who only need to fill in a few sparse areas.
The Make Up For Ever Brow Pencil retails for $25 CAD for 1.79g.
