NARS Audacious Collection (Fall 2016)

Good news if you are a huge fan of NARS Audacious lipsticks : Earlier this month, NARS has launched another collection for Fall 2016 and it contains 5 new Audacious lipsticks shades! The collection features more awesome products as well, such as four new brow defining creams, two eyeliners and a mascara.

NARS Brow Defining Cream ($29 CAD for 2.9g)
This is my new holy grail brow product! The formula is creamy but not oily, it dries down to a matte finish. My skin is super oily and it last all day on me, but it comes off if I rub my eyes.

I like the fact that I don't need 2-3 shades to add some dimension to the brows. The color is buildable so I simply apply more product on the same area if I want a darker color. I apply it with an angled brush and draw light strokes to mimic eyebrow hairs.

The shade Danakil is perfect for me! It's a very dark brown with cool undertones. 

By the way, the Brow Defining Cream is available in 4 shades : Sonoran (blonde), El Djouf (light brown), Tanami (auburn) and Danakil (dark brown).

NARS Unrestricted Satin Eyeliner Stylo ($34 CAD for 1.4ml)
The color is beautifully intense, a deep black with a satin finish. It looks like it's shimmery in this photo, but it's not. The staying power is incredible as well! It's very water resistant and doesn't transfer onto the creases of my eyes.

That being said, I didn't like this eyeliner. The liquid doesn't make it's way to the tip, it's almost as if the felt-tip applicator is a bit too long? It's very difficult to work with, especially if you like a super sharp line!

NARS Audacious Lipsticks ($39 CAD for 4.2g)
I looooove these lipsticks! The formula is very creamy and goes on lips super smoothly. They aren't drying and the staying power is pretty good for such a creamy lipstick. Apoline wore well for 4 hours, while the other colors (Kate, Shirley and Stefania) lasted 6-7 hours on me. I do suggest to use a lipliner if your lips are prone to feathering though.

These 4 shades are extremely pigmented and are completely opaque in one pass! By the way, the Audacious lipsticks are scentless.

The price is pretty high, but they are so worth the money!

Apoline is a soft pinky beige with a creamy and slightly glossy finish. My favorite color out of the 4 shades!

NYC Get It All Lipstick in 101 ExceptioNUDE is more mauve. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Naked is lighter and a bit cooler. BITE Beauty Multistick in Cashew is less pink and much more brown, the finish is more matte as well.  Lise Watier Baiser Satin Liquid Lipstick in Blushing Kiss is a bit lighter and cooler.

Stefania is a plummy fuchsia with a creamy and slightly glossy finish.

Dose of Colors Lipstick in Seductive is lighter and a bit cooler. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Firebird is brighter and warmer, it has subtle blue iridescent sheen as well. NARS Killer Shine Lipstick in No Shame is much darker. MUFE Artist Rouge Creme Lipstick in C207 is lighter and a bit brighter.

Shirley is a deep red with brown undertones, the finish is creamy and slightly glossy.

NYC Get It All Lipstick in 302 IncREDdible is lighter and slightly brighter, less brown. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Rock Steady is cooler, less brown. BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick in Gazpacho is brighter and lighter, less brown. MUFE Artist Rouge Creme Lipstick in C405 is brighter, cooler and lighter, less brown as well.

Kate is a muted purple plum with a creamy and slightly glossy finish.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Heroine is brighter, more purple and the finish is matte. BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick in Spritzer is much lighter. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Pandemonium is brighter and more violet, the finish is more matte. Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Fig is less purple and slightly lighter.
