Clarins 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palettes (Fall 2016)

For Fall 2016, Clarins is coming out with 3 new Eyeshadow Palettes! Enriched with carnauba wax powder, the 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palettes can be applied wet for an intense color payoff or dry for a natural look.

These new eyeshadow palettes are available in 3 shades combos :

01 Nude
02 Rosewood
03 Brown

While these palettes contain a few shimmery eyeshadows, none of them are super frosty or glittery. I think that the finish and formula would be awesome for aging eyes. These colors are very wearable as well!

I do suggest to apply them over a good eye primer because they tend to fade and crease a little bit on me. I used to be able to wear eyeshadows without a primer, but it seems like my eyelids eat all my makeup now!

If you love neutral eyeshadows, these palettes are for you!

Clarins 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Nude :
This palette contains a pearly beige, a shimmery copper, a shimmery taupe and a matte blackened brown. The formula is incredibly smooth and all the shades are highly pigmented!

The blackened brown can be applied on the upper lashline to create a soft cat eye! You can use any of the other colors all over the lid, they all look great with the blackened brown on the upper lashline.

Clarins 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette in 02 Rosewood :
The Rosewood palette is gorgeous for green eyes! It contains a shimmery pinky white, a shimmery pinky copper, a matte muted aubergine and a shimmery mauve taupe. The pinky white definitely look best when I apply it wet, otherwise it can look a bit chalky. The other shades are perfect, even the matte aubergine doesn't look patchy and is easy to work with.

I like to apply the pinky copper all over the lid, the matte aubergine into the crease and the shimmery pinky white on the inner corner. Pretty!

Clarins 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette in 03 Brown :
Last but not least, this one features 4 cool-toned shades : a pearly light grey, a matte greyish brown, a shimmery grey taupe and a matte espresso brown. I wish the pearly light grey was more shimmery or darker because it's quite subtle on me, but it's a great lid color.

That matte espresso brown is giving me life, so smooth and pigmented! I love to wear it all over the lid with the matte greyish brown into the crease. It's a super easy makeup look but it looks amazing! And if I want a shimmery finish, I simply add the shimmery grey taupe over the matte espresso brown.
