OPI Retro Summer 2016 Collection

As you probably know already, OPI is launching its summer collection this month : Retro Summer! This bright and colorful collection features 6 limited edition nail lacquers. I don't know about you, but I was super excited when I saw the colors!

My favorites? SPF XXX, I'm Getting a Tan-gerine and Sailing & Nail-ing!

Left to right : SPF XXX, I'm Getting a Tan-gerine, Towel Me About It

SPF XXX is a corally orange with a creme finish. This one was love at first sight! This color is almost fully opaque with 2 coats, but looks best with 3. Love it!!

I'm Getting a Tan-gerine is a light orange with a creme finish. I think this is my favorite shade out of the 6 colors! The formula is on the thin side and is a bit streaky, but I love it so much that I don't care. I apply 3 coats and I do the matte top coat trick. Sunrise to Sunset (Infinite Shine Spring 2016 Collection) is darker. Stop it I'm Blushing! (Soft Shades 2016 Collection) is much lighter, less orange.

Towel Me About It is a light sunny yellow with a creme finish. I love the color even if the formula isn't the best, it's quite streaky with 3 coats. But it looks great with the matte top coat trick! One Chic Chick (Soft Shades 2016 Collection) is lighter, less bright.

Left to right : Sailing & Nail-ing, What's the Double Scoop?, Flip Flops & Crop Tops

Sailing & Nail-ing is a light blue with a creme finish. I looove this blue, it has warm undertones but it's not really a true turquoise. This one is a bit streaky and sheer at the first two coats, but it's perfect with 3 coats.

What's the Double Scoop? is a light pink with a creme finish. Sadly, the formula is very sheer and streaky. You'll need the matte top coat trick and 3-4 coats, but I'm not even sure if it would work. Small + Cute = Heart (Hello Kitty Collection) is slightly lighter and more peachy.

Flip Flops & Crop Tops is a bright pink with a creme finish. The formula is a bit streaky and needs 3 coats to smooth out. Suzi Nails New Orleans (New Orleans Collection) is lighter and slightly cooler.

The OPI Nail Lacquers retail for $12.50 CAD for 15ml.
