Dot Shock Balmy Gloss in #002 Pink Beauty ($22 CAD for 6.5ml)
I absolutely adore this product! It looks like a lipgloss, but it's not sticky at all and feels amazing on the lips. Also, the Balmy Gloss is formulated with special pigments that react to your skin's pH level, so this shade can be lighter or brighter on you.
I love the color, on me it's a milky pink with a glossy finish and it doesn't settle into the fine lines!
Dot Shock Eyeshadow Palette in #002 Spring Apricot ($32 CAD for 5g)
Ohhhhh my god. These eyeshadows are gorgeous, both in terms of texture and colors! They are so buttery smooth, almost like cream eyeshadows! The shimmery finish is beautiful and the color payoff is excellent. I do suggest to wear them over a good primer (such as Too Faced Shadow Insurance) because they have a tendency to fade quite a bit after a few hours.
By the way my friend Cynthia Dulude did a gorgeous look with this palette, check it out!
Also available in #001 Pink Romance.
Miss PUPA Ultra Brilliant Lipstick in #001 Sugar Peach ($20 CAD for 2.4ml)
Sugar Peach is a milky peachy coral with a slightly shimmery finish. Hmmm I don't know how I feel about this shade, which is slightly more coral in real life. I've tested another Miss Pupa lipstick a while ago and loved the glossy finish, but this color is less glossy. Also, it settles a bit too much into the fine lines.
Oh well, this isn't a must have for me but I usually love the Miss Pupa lipsticks!
Also available in #004 Fancy Red.
Vamp! Stylo Liner in #001 Creamy Chocolate ($20 CAD for 1.5ml)
I really wanted to like this eyeliner but unfortunately it doesn't stay put on me. It has great color payoff and I love the felt tip, but it flakes off and isn't waterproof.
That's a shame because the color is a beautiful matte chocolate brown.
Dot Shock Blush in #001 Dot Macarons ($29 CAD for 22g)
I love this blush, it has a beautiful luminous finish (not glittery) and last all day on me! I apply it on my cheeks (obviously!) and lightly on my chin and on the tip of my nose. It sounds weird, but it give my skin an healthy glow! Oh and I love the vanilla smell!
I just wish that the container was a bit larger, not because there isn't enough product in it (quite the opposite actually, 22g is huge!!) but because sometimes I kick a ball out of the jar with my brush.
Left to right : #002 Fair Pink and #136 Shock Fuchsia
Lasting Color Velvet Matt Nail Polish in #002 Fair Pink ($11 CAD for 5ml)
Fair Pink is a bright pink with a matte finish. It's almost completely opaque with 2 coats but can look a bit streaky so I prefer to add a third thin coat. It dries super fast though so by the time you paint all your nails, you can go back to the first nail and apply another coat!
Also available in #001 Sugar Peach.
Lasting Color Gel Gloss Effect Nail Polish in #136 Shock Fuchsia ($11 CAD for 5ml)
Shock Fuchsia is a bright coral pink with a glossy cream finish. This shade is highly pigmented but a bit sheer, you will need 2-3 coats if you don't want any visible nail line! It has a super glossy finish as well.
(I received these products in order to evaluate them and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
Packaging is just to die for !!! Great selection of products that just scream Spring/summer :) great post :) X
