Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette

I couldn't resist, I bought the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette! I tried an Ambient Lighting blush when they came out earlier this year so I already knew I would love it. This palette will be available for sale tomorrow (October 1st) and I'm sure that they will sell like hotcakes!

Luminous Flush, Incandescent Electra, Mood Exposure

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette contain 3 shades : Luminous Flush, Incandescent Electra and Mood Exposure. Incandescent Electra is only available in this palette, the other 2 shades are part of the permanent range.

These blushes look powdery and poorly pigmented when I swatch them on my hands (my skin is so dry) but they are MUCH more pigmented when I apply them on my cheeks, over my foundation or moisturizer!

I didn't do cheek swatches for these blushes (sorry!) because I wanted to post this review as soon as possible.

Luminous Flush is a medium pink with a pearl finish. I love the finish, it doesn't look frosty at all but still give a beautiful glow!

Incandescent Electra is a light coral pink with a luminous finish. It's more shimmery than the other shades without being glittery or overly frosty. It doesn't look like Dim Infusion, which is matte and more peachy. It's such a beautiful color and I wish all Ambient Lighting Blushes had that luminous finish!

Mood Exposure is described as a soft plum. It looks like a taupe plum shade in the pan, but on my skin it's a peachy brown with a satin finish. How weird is that? It's pretty, but not was I was expecting (I really wanted a plummy shade).

I think this palette is a good deal, a full size blush retail for $41 CDN for 4.2g and with this palette you get 9.9g for $67 CDN. It has a value of $96, so you basically pay for 2 colors and get the third shade for free. What I'm trying to say is.. if you like at least 2 shades, it's well worth the money!
