#16 Candy Rose is a medium cool toned pink with a pearly, slightly frosty finish. This lipstick isn't completely opaque, but it has great pigmentation. The pearly finish add a nice plumping effect, without being overly frosty. It lasted 4 hours on me, pretty good if you ask me.
I love how the Rouge Éclat lipsticks feels on my lips, the texture is thin and confortable. It's moisturizing, but not too oily and it's never sticky. I also like the scent, it smells sweet and fruity.
These lipsticks contain vitamin E to protects against free radicals and the Nutri-Youth Complex protects lips against dehydration and boosts collagen. Yes, they are pricey, but they offers more than just color!
MAC Chatterbox is a brighter, warmer pink. Make Up For Ever #32 is slightly lighter and has an opaque creamy finish. Clarins #16 Candy Rose isn't as opaque as these 2 lipsticks and also has a pearly, slightly frosty finish.
Candy Rose is a pretty pink for the colder months, don't you think?
The Clarins Rouge Éclat Lipstick in #16 Candy Rose retail for $27 CDN for 3g.
