If you read my blog on a regular basis, you may know that I dislike sticky lip products. I absolutely adore the glossy finish of lip glosses but I can't stand most of them because they are way too tacky for my taste. So when I received this Miss PUPA Ultra-Brilliant lipstick recently, I was very curious to try it! A lipstick with a glossy finish? Yes, please!

#300 Pop Pink is a light pink with a glossy finish. The color is quite sheer so it doesn't look as bright on the lips than it does in the tube, but it's very wearable and it doesn't settle into the fine lines.
Miss Pupa Ultra-Brilliant Lipstick looks like a lipstick, but it has the finish of a lipgloss! It applies smoothly to the lips, but it feels a bit thick. It's not goopy though, and it's not as sticky as a lipgloss, but it has the same wet finish that makes my lips looks plumper! Also, this formula is moisturizing like a lipbalm and it has a nice sweet vanilla scent, which remind me of MAC lipsticks but a bit more like vanilla cake than straigth vanilla.
The staying power is decent ; the glossy finish tend to disappear after 2 hours, although I can wear it 3-4 hours until I really need to reapply it (it feels a bit sticky).
MAC Cut A Caper is darker, more peachy and less glossy. Too Faced Marshmallow Bunny is lighter, more opaque and less glossy. Clarins Candy Shimmer looks similar, although less cool toned and a bit more glossy.
Pop Pink is a beautiful color that is very wearable and I just LOVE the glossy finish!
The PUPA Milano Miss Pupa Ultra Brilliant Lipstick in #300 Pop Pink retail for $20 CDN for 2.4ml.

J'adore cette nuance rosée / rouge qui est idéale pour l'été parce qu'elle reste très légère. Merci pour cette jolie découverte :)
