So, is it a liquid lipstick, a tinted lip balm or a gloss? To me, they are definitely lipglosses but the texture isn't as tacky as some lipglosses I have tried in the past, much less than MAC lipglasses. The formula is very smooth, it's not too thick but doesn't feel too runny either. It has a bit more pigmentation than most lipglosses, but it's not like a liquid lipstick.
They feel great on the lips for about 2 hours, after that they do get a bit sticky. The color start to fade after 2 hours, but the shine stay up to 3 hours after the application (although not as glossy as when it is freshly applied). I love the doe foot applicator which is really easy to use and deposits the perfect amount of product onto the lips with each swipe!
They remind me of Maybelline Color Elixir Liquid Color Balm, without the strong scent that some of you didn't like. The Lancôme Lip Lover Perfectors have a light sweet rose scent. They are also more moisturizing and feels a bit less thick on the lips. All the Lip Lover shades I tried wore beautifully without feathering (unlike the darker Color Elixir I tried).
318 Abricot Tango
336 Orange Manège
Orange Manège is a coral-orange in the tube, but on my lips it looks much more pink. This one leave a slight stain on the lips but honestly, it's barely noticeable.
337 Lip Lover
Lip Lover is a pretty sheer pink. If you expect a bright pink you might be disappointed, on my lips it was more sheer than in the tube. I love it though, it's very glossy and looks great no matter if my skin is pale or tanned!
Also, the coupon code LIPLOVER will give you 10% off on all Lancôme products, from March 24th to April 25th. Shipping is free too!
The Lancôme Lip Lover Dewy Color Lip Perfector retail for $29 CDN for 4.5ml.
